I'm trying to use Cinema Tools in FCP 7. I can open Cinema Tools and can see my files (mostly .mov video files) however I can do anything with them. Their file names are light gray (faint), rather than solid black which tells me Cinema Tools can see the files, but can do anything with them.
I know it's probably a simple solution, can anyone help? Thanks

Cinema Tools can deal with ProRes files, or any other FCP codec. It cannot convert H.264, or any GOP format like XDCAM or HDV or AVCHD.
The .mov extension does not tell you what the properties of the file are - if I recall correctly, Cinema Tools will not work with mpeg (h.264 etc.) files. You need to have files that use an intra frame codec, like ProRes.
What are you trying to do with files in Cinema Tools? Conform them to a new frame rate?
